Anthem X 1 29er

After a failed attempt to by a frame off the Hub and converting my XTc 29er to a dual I came across the Anthem at my LBS. The bike has full Fox ctd suspension and reading up on it it seems to be problematic. My question is should I go for this bike, I want to move more to off road riding and my XTc is very fast, well as fast as a XL rider can go, but I like the look of the Anthem and really want to expand my off road capabilities. Will I have to say goodbye to asphalt, any advise will be great.

you can ride that bike anywhere - brilliant all-rounder. smashes single track as well.

I had 2 anthem,s before going to a SC Tallboy .I am also an XL rider ..Anthem,s are wonderful bikes .They do eveything really well except tight turns because your weight is more towards the front of the bike .Once you you get used to the weight shift ,any single trackt can be ridden with confidence

The 2013 EVO CTD stuff will give you grey hairs. 2014 should be better, so just check which year model the bike is.

Its a brand new 2014 Anthem X, I will check it out.
