Enlighten us, what fast one is he/she trying? Good question is do they actually live in swellendam, often they don't live anywhere near the delivery point but they wait there on the day of delivery

They say they love in 4 ashton road swellendam.. Cannondale scalpel 1 2014 full carbon. For a magnificent price. But they need a deposit...hahahaha

A friend of mine is a farmer just outside Swellendam - a big Cannondale fan, so he will know exactly who have Cannondale's in town. I just got "caught" out by someone promising me something, but I got something totally different! (a lot of half truths) so I love "catching" scammers!!!

Any relation to the Toyota Dealer there, Hoekwil? i bought my Verso from them, came up all the way from Cape Town, not DC weekend to buy it, so Swellendam not that dodgy. Common guys benefit of the doubt

Unfortunately I am related to that bunch, Warren, the guy you were most likely dealing with is my brother...the dealership has been in the family for 4 generations.

Anyway, Warren is meeting with the chap this afternoon apparently, and he will let me know what happens.

i thought as much, yes it was warren. Cool dude, got there well after business hours & he said just call when you are here, the transaction must've went down at round about 8pm, lol!!

So my brother never met up with our scapel selling friend. They were supposed to meeting at 4:30 yesterday which never happened and when my brother phoned him at 6:30 he was in a VERY important meeting and he would call him back.

 

My feeling is it is a scam and let it go...Warren is still going to try get hold of him, there are a few very passionate mtbing farmers out there that dont like this sort of thing.
