Anyone know where we can get the race results and photo's?

Definitely learnt where my weaknesses are during this race.

Thanks Farmer, Mandy, John and the whole team.

Also had a great time. Long time in the saddle day one but awesome day 2.

Was your 6.10 as a result of the hills with your SS or mechanical?

Either way, big up to booth of you for doing it on a SS, much respect.

Some small part was a mechanical, i say about 30min on day one.

There was that super rocky/loose descent followed by the short climb with a right hander at the top...

I punctured on the descent and Flippa was a couple of riders ahead at the climb by the time i got to the top he had gone off, waited for someone to help me with a plug as Flippa had all the puncture stuff ha ha.

He waited at the water point about 20 -30 min for me.

Other than that HILLS - BIG EFFING HILLS

Then day two was a blast i live for single track like that, we grouped with a group of 3 as one of their riders dropped out after day 1 and just went from there. Smooth sailing.

Come on, Day 2 is a road ride. Day 1 is the bomb.

Looked like you guys were running 32 x 18, if you were the guys running the rigid's. Did you change your gearing ?

Yip, running 32x18 both days. It was too big a gear for me on day 1, so I completely knackered myself. Day 2 was amazing, all that singletrack.

Next year day one will be on a 19 and day 2 the 18... But yeah rigids all the way... Arms and shoulders were a bit buggered ha ha ha

I ran 34T Rotor & 19, but I did know what was around the corner so could plan.

Had planned to drop down to an 18T for Day 2, but we pushed a bit hard on Day 1. So just spun my lungs out on all the Tar as my partner runs 1 x 10 (using the same 34T Rotor ring)
