The elite of the elite climbers are chasing that GC

Froome

Contador

Quintana

J-Rod

Real psychological points to be scored or lost here.

this is where "I" miss andy, he will go on the attack at the second last cat1 climb to get away from the other GC guys.

hopefully today they wont sit on each other till the last 700m like yesterday.

J-Rod dissapointed in the TdF last year. He cost me in the fantasy League. On This form hw just might make it back in to the team for this year.

the climbs in the tour are longer, but not necessarily steeper and he excels on steep climbs.

however if they are more in the Pyrenees things might be a bit different.

I agree. I can see Purito winning the Vuelta and the Giro easy, but not the Tour.

Sadly I have to agree. Really like Purito but can't see him winning the TdF

Maybe I'm just missing the doping days, where the pirate of late, lance or Contaminated Contador would attack at the bottom of a climb.

Even better were the Chiapucci days, when they'd attack from two or three mountains back.

Reports from our man on the ground is that the snow is coming down at the finish and that it's going to get worse later on.
