To my knowledge the twitter and Facebook is optional. It will give you a bigger chance of you retweet or share on facebook but all you need is an email address.

it is not a required field. it should not stop you from entering if you don't have facebook or twitter. you can add entries by allowing it but the required field is your email and name. that is it. that and being 18.
