CubeD Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Hey, Has anyone done the Karkloof Enduro?I'm amped to enter, but would like to hear from anyone who's tried the enduro? Suited bike travel? 140mm?I ride platform pedals and hope this event suits ie. not tooo much climbing (or non timed climbs?) Thanks

Some big climbs - but you are not timed so it doesnt matter You can race it on any bike - 29er hardtail to 170mm all mtn bike ... just dont bring a DH rig ... you will die Dan Dob and DR ◣◢ 2

David D Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I plan to do it. As Nigel said, the stages are on sections of the 60km marathon route, so any bike will be fine. I also plan to camp, so I can ride the marathon the next day. Hope it doesn't rain this year!!!
