I was given the settlement amount and go ahead to order a new bike in an hour or two. When it came to decide on what to buy, Pinarello was excluded, not because I thought my bike shop was going to sell me a fake, but because I knew most other Pinas on the road were fake. I bought a C59 frame instead. Sjoe, hardly a step down from Pina then. Nice, to be sure, but C59, yes, of course. Tommo, another probably better buy. An actually made in Italy frame, Battaglin too. can't get a Chinasini, or Chinaglin, too bloody difficult! Edit: I suppose Pinna victims of their own EXTENSIVE marketing!
