Make sure the trainer has enough resistance at a reasonable speed to give you what you need.

So 350w resistance at 50km/h is NOT enough....

Look for something that can deliver at least 650 - 1000w at about 40kph.

Have a look at the TRaining, Health and Nutrition thread, lots of IDT training advice hidden there:

https://www.bikehub.co.za/f/13-training-health-nutrition/

Depends what your goals are...are you:

1. Planning on using it regularly

or

2. Just occasionally in winter when its a bit cool n dark?

If its (1) then buy the best you can afford, if possible one that provides online virtual training options see this link

https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/137945-hub-tacx-virtual-races-rides/page__hl__virtual

If its (1) or (2), buy the quietest you can afford - No one likes a noisy IDT

Also budget for a good quality fan and entertainment system to watch movies while training
