Hi guys

looking for a service kit for a Shimano rear hub

XT -> FH-M775, does anyone have one they're willing to sell,

Have a friend whose hub has gone and he's prepping for Sani2C and Shimano SA can't help.

Please inbox me.

Hi

I actually don't know how compatible the parts are, if anyone can advise would help.

it's QR.

G

Aren't most Shimano freehubs compatible?

Is it QR or thru-axle?

If it's QR I believe you can use almost any Shimano freehub.

Your LBS should be able to sort it out

any LBS should...

but seems to service/repair his free hub they need spares from Shimano, and well Shimano SA apparently can't help.

Just checked the tech docs on Shimano's website

The table gives you the list of compatible hub parts

So you can use the following freehubs

  • XT FH-M770 (identical freehub)
  • XTR FH-M975 (different materials)

  • XT FH-M785 (identical freehub)
  • XTR FH-M985 (different materials)

Now to find something that will work.

Hi Flowta

thanks for the help, found the following on buycycle...

http://www.buycycle....r-xt-black.html

looks like an exact match actually. :) Seems Coolheat is not doing their business any favours, 2nd person I've now heard stating problems around part support.

G

That's the one.

Unfortunately Coolheat are notorious for never having stock.

And they wonder why we become self efficient with local and international online shops.

PS: so you agree, thats a matching hub?

If you look in the specs table further down it says FH-M775

Strange, I was searching buycycle this morning and couldn't find that one.

We work to get what you're looking for....it's there now.
