Overlord Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Just saw 3 of the Giro teams coming past me in Melkbosstrand.Great? Don't think so. In all three of the teams I saw there were riders without helmets on! What gives?
Willehond Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 I don't think they know about our helmet law. Remember it's not like that all over the world! Plus, they figure it's South Africa, we clearly have bigger problems....
ShortLegs Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Rode past what looked like a french development squad (under correction as they were all in blue with what looked like french on their tops) yesterday and they all had helmets on () and seemed friendly enough.
Cruxpearl Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Belgian & Danish National teams as well as Probably 5-8 International teams here for Giro, and they wil NOT ride with helmets whilst training, check any international cycling magazine training photos
