hagar Posted April 28, 2008 Share Hi Dick its going very slowly she is only doing about 15km on a ride max. i tried to get her to do the 46 km mykonos ride two weeks ago but she was not up to it . she was attacked by seven dogs on a farm when she went to visit her brother and she had some nasty bites on her leg so she did not want to ride. as soon as we do a ride together i will take a few pics and post them. She is still keen for the Argus and with the chilli afternoons i dont think she wants to ride when i get home from work at 5pm. she goes out with a friend of hers in the mornings about 9am and that is when i am working i will keep you guys updated Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Give yourself a good pat on the back, cause you really deserve it. To all the HUBBERS that helped in any way (including those that wanted, but couldn't), well done. You guys have really shown, that in numbers, you can do great things. I am sorry that I was not part of this thread any earlier, BUT, I can be part of the maintenance. Hagar, if there is anything that she may need, now or in the future, please pm or call me. Is there still the shortfall that I can donate to now? hagar Posted April 28, 2008 Share hey Pocketbikes thanks its nothing there is so much support and all the guys that helped and offered parts i could have built a spare bike too. I am not that good when it comes to bike building so we went the route of bying a good secondhand one and boy oh boy is the lady happy hse put a pice in our local newspaper too . I need to get her to do some short rides with me but we will work on it. As I posted earlier the cool weather might be putting her off and she does not feel so hot every day.
