My Anthem came fitted with them and grip-wise they're great but I had them converted to tubeless and they leaked like sieves. Apparently they are tubeless-ready which is not the same as tubeless so if that is the way you want to go then get the snakeskins. Just replaced them with Geax Saguaros

Snakeskin or Twinskin is a must.

First choice is the Evolution Line (this gives you the snakeskin option) with the PaceStar compound (this gives you the tri-compound with really soft side knobs that grip like hell and roll well).

I have been running these 29X2.25 front and rear for 2 years now and have NEVER had a puncture or burped a tyre. Front tyre has lasted 3,300kms and is on its last legs. Rear tyre lasted about 2,000kms but have now blown through a second one very quickly doing more Enduro style riding and locking the rear up in to berms as the compound is a little to soft at the rear.

The Twinskin option also has a thicker sidewall but not as much protection as the Snakeskin, and these are part of the Performance line and don't have the tri-compound so the knobs are a lot harder and less flexible.

I have now got hold of one of these for the rear 29X2.10 and hopefully it will last longer.

Truly fantastic tyres, but are rather expensive but I still wont run anything else for the near future.
