rouxtjie Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 the trainer resistance will not change but the rider would need to produce more power to ride faster as the app take a known power, known weight and know grade into account and calculates speed. i.e. wheel speed may be 30kph @ 280w but going up a hill of 4% grade 280w may only mean a speed of 20kph so for the rider to ride at 30kph up the same 4% hill he would need to ride at say 450w.Also known as.....spinning their mielies off.... :clap:

As mentioned before, I now and again use the free iphone virtual training app....very cool and works like a bomb. Sync all data to cloud and no need for dongles.... Bluetooth for the win.
