He does now!!!

No, that is not necessarily correct. Depending on what the T's&C's of the warranty say, he may have to get that amendment SIGNED in order to validly amend the agreed upon warranty (the contract). There is also the chance that amendment of the warranty may be strictly prohibited and thus void. I would check first, drill later.

Yoh, I would like to think, (maybe very naively so), that there is still some form of trust, however slight, left in this grubby world.

I had bike built up by LBS in Hilton, actually do not have warranty certificate, I assume still with owner of LBS which has since closed down.

Would be able to trace it all I suppose. All for 4mm!!

Reply from Pyga, good service.

Hi,

Yes, please drill a 4mm hole in the centre bottom of the BB. This will not voide your warranty.

Hope you are still loving the bike!

Best regards,

Hi Pat

I have just replaced the BB on my Pyga. There was a lot of water in the frame. Is this normal?

If I drill a 4mm hole in BB will this void the warranty?

If not, which is the best place to place the hole?

Regards

Please explain to me why there isn't a 4mm drilled hole put in there by the manufacturer if they want you to do it...
