I have a Sram XO rear derailer with a stripped anchor bolt.

I managed to get a spare Anchor bolt, but would anyone know how to remove the original anchor bolt, it does not have a normal split washer or anything like that, anyone with experience in this matter

There's a grub screw under the pivot point. Remove that and you'll be able to pull the bolt out in the direction of the thread.

OK thanks, let me try that and report back, its this ring that sits around the bottom of the thread we are talking about, on the replacement anchor blot you get a cut away washer, unlike this one, if there a screw that makes this washer came away from the thread?

That silver thing that you think is a washer is actually a split ring. Like a keyring but flat. Look for the start, remove, and you're done. Be careful not to bend it of they haven't supplied a spare with the kit - it's pretty easy to do.

Thanks Droo

Yip, works perfectly, nicely little engineered split ring, could hardly see the gap.

I will just order one from the UK.

There must a so many damaged RD, for every three you could make 1 complete one.

That one won't fit, it's only for the older ones. Yours is 2012 IIRC.

As stated in the ad:

Replacement Sram X.0 derailleur hanger bolt.

• Suitable for 06 - 07 only.
