Anybody know these guys? Tygervalley Road Roadies...

Hi

The last few Saturdays, while I've been going into work I've noticed 3 or 4 largish roadie groups riding along Tygervalley Road (towards the northern suburbs - I've been heading towards Milnerton). This has been around 7:30 / 8 am.

The Groups look well organised (possibly grouped according to strength) with what appears to be a marshal vehicle of sorts following the last group.

I'm guessing these are Club rides? But there doesn't seem to be any major club jerseys dominating the group.

Anybody know anything more about these guys? I might like to join in.

Hey Dubber,

I'm a member of City Cycling Club...not to be confused with City Cycles (which is a store), as JGR has said, we've been along that route the last few Saturdays as part of our DC prep.

If you interested in becoming a member you can get in contact with the relevant people from the website http://www.citycyclingclub.co.za/

There's social weekend road rides every Saturday and Sunday, MTB rides once a week as well as guys that organise track rides, we also have an internal order of merit racing league which is handicapped based on abilities.

I only recently joined them...loving it! Feel free to PM me if you want anymore details
