10km trail run followed by a 25km mountain bike - you can go solo and do both OR enter as a relay team of two.

 

 

 

There will also be a 5km fun walk for the less serious...

Entered my first duathlon - kind of excited.

Do I need a cable lock for my bike or are the transition zones generally guarded enough? :-)

Search - any comments on the run section? It look grueling for somebody just started off running... Contemplating it but that climbing (of the run!) looks daunting.

Never mind, I'm IN! Will be the one walking a LOT during the run. Motivated by my W2W partner... I suspect he's secretly looking for a new partner and want me to die so he can get one without offending me...

Search, I presume you were involved in the organising... Thanks a stack! It was the most fun event I've ever attended. Trails and vibe - unbeatable. And it was awesome to ride some familiar sections of the trails in reverse!

 

I will be back next year! (and this coming from a guy who started jogging 2 months ago at most and was petrified by the idea of the trail run...)

 

My only bummer is it seems my transponder did not register properly, but will take that up with the Trailtag guys during the course of the day...
