titus ftm 2009 questions

Hi all

 

Any one of you have experience with the FTM at all?

 

Specifically the 09 aluminum model.

 

One of my considerations is to run a 160mm travel fork on a bike designed for a 140mm travel fork. ....rear travel is 135mm for reference and the head angle with a 140mm fork is on the 69deg mark.

 

Hope that it will not tear the head tube off or handle like a typical American rear wheel drive car around the corners

Hairy I ran mine (2009 ti version) with an adjustable RS Revelation fork 120-150mm with no drama. Often opened up the travel to 150mm just because I had it.

 

It's not the 160mm you're asking so can't comment if the extra 10mm will be the tipping point between fun and a high care bed!

Anyone in CT have a Titus FTM in a size large that I could throw a leg over and get an idea on sizing please?
