Check seat height - too high generally hurts the back of the knee and the achilles.

No kick in the heel........however it feels as if someone gives you a blinder of a vleisplakkie behnd the head. It is only when you try to move that you realise die ou voetjie does not want to cooperate........

He might just be a little wrong on that....... just a tad.... Please be aware that even if you now have no pain, that the underlying issue still exists, and that you must resolve - if you don't then we may well hear a rather loud "twang" soon.

 

In my case the tendon had has healed. It is just the casing around the tendon that had some inflammation, hence the injection around that area not into the tendon. Taking it easy this week then getting back on the bike for an easy week next week to see how things go.
