Hi guys,

servicing my RP23's. Need to do a "rebuild" on one fo them. This would include (on one of them) the seal that causes the oil to leak out the adjustment shaft and also some way of getting the nitrogen back in. Anyone know who can help with this?

Cheers!

not the air chamber. there is apparently nitrogen in the rebound section at 400 psi. The little valve that is at the bottom with a plastic plug in it... Not sure why nitrogen and not air...

I have the tools and seals. Requires a bit of patience and very speicalised tools (including a toothpick and spoke). There was a detailed thread on the damper service a while ago. Seems like Fox is the only manufacturer to specify nitrogen - air is good enough for the rest! Why nitrogen? Cheapest inert gas and with a regulator you can control the pressure. Also using air you will get some condensation under pressure although this is not a problem. Give me a call if you would like me to service it.
