  1. I listen to music and also use the Elite Sterzo Smart steerder for Zwift, it is more fun to take the bends as you would, when riding on a race track . I can duck in behind other rider for slip. The feeling on the bike is also more realistic with the steerder.
  2. Will be out in 2 years. In the Uk.this guy got 11 years. Reilly pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving at a hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court last October. > “It should have been her right to get home safely”: Driver admits causing death of Hackney cyclist The offence now carries a maximum sentence of life imprisonment for offences committed after 28 June 2022, with the change introduced under The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act which received Royal Assent on 28 April that year. Previously, the longest jail term that could be handed down was 14 years, but even in the most egregious cases, that full term was rarely, if ever, imposed.

    Rear Shock

The teflon wear ring is not included in the basic service kit. It is only replaced with a major service.

With all the basic service kits I bought, you only get the aircan seals. That is the thin O ring that seal the top, the quad seal and the seal that press in at the bottom of the aircan. For any major service it have to be send to the professionals. Problem af air leak mostly the lack of a regular basic service and a lack of lubricant on the sides of the aircan that cause the quad seal lips to wear and cause the leak. The bottom seal is only available from the manufactured with the service kit, but is just occasional the problem of the leak. The quad seal and the thin O ring if needed you can get from Bearingman. They are cheap and if a kit is not available by replacing the quad seal it can solve the leak till a kit can be sourced. In the youtube video the guy point out the parts you have to inspect to see if the shock need a major service.

It is most probably only the quad rubbet seal in the aircan that is leakingv air. Remove the aircan rubber seal,if it is a quad seal or O ring take the seal to you local Bearing man dealer, they suppply all the sizes. Will cost you a few Rand to repair the shox, it is very easy. Lots of youtube video’s. Install with Buzzy’s Slick Honey suspension grease or you can also use some Red rubber grease from Midas. You can order the kit from https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/sr-suntour-gaskets-oil-kit-for-shock-rs19-edge-lo-r-rl-r-rc/139754103/p?utm_source=google_products&utm_medium=merchant&id_producte=19379920&country=uk&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI8Jj039qAgwMVfZSDBx3YvQwFEAQYCiABEgJ1GvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds. They stock most service kits. I now live in the UK and ordered kits for my DT Swiss shox, Fox and Rockshok forks from them. Problem is the courier cost to SA. But in can be less than a new shox and order 2, or more kits.
  7. I had good service from Bike Components. https://www.bike-components.de/en/ Then not in Germany but Bike Inn in Spain They ship all over the world and has a large variety of spare and repair kits for Shocks, forks and sram brakes. Also very good prices https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/
  8. Wiggle CRC problems can be from Brexit. With regards to international sales, 38% of the company’s £252million annual revenue came from outside the UK. The directors, however, pointed to a fall in sales caused by Britain's exit from the EU. Before Brexit no import duty was paid by buyers from EU. After Brexit buyers have to pay import duty. So most EU buyer is nou using German and other EU stores. Bikeinn https://www.tradeinn.com/bikeinn/en/castelli- and Bike- Components. https://www.bike-components.de/en/accessories/ I live in the UK and buy mostly from them as they have a wider variety of components than Wiggle CRC and their price is very competitive.
  9. When visiting my son who lives near Amsterdam last year, I saw a woman with a mini skirt, high heel shoes and handbag over her shoulder riding a roadbike in Amsterdam. Netherlands has more than 35,000 km of cycle paths; for context, the country's road network is only 140,000 km.

  13. Cyclists eat rice cakes while biking because they are easy to digest, non-perishable, easily portable, and rich in carbohydrate - the preferred fuel of working muscles during long cycling sessions.
  14. DHL quote about 450 ponds from UK to SA about R 10 500.00 to R 12 000.00. then there is some additional cost at customs and an admin fee.
  15. If it is an old bile, it is cheaper to buy one in SA than send one from UK to SA with DHL

  17. I ride in the Uk West Sussex area for just over a year and must say on the narrow B roads, even riding on the edge of the road 99% of the drivers will ride a save distand behind you with out hooting, till they see it is safe to pass you with no oncoming traffic and also they will pass you with out geting to close to you, There is the exceptions, but I am very impressed with how the majority drive.
  18. Live stream at https://tiz-cycling-live.io/manual.php or you can check the stage later in the evening at https://tiz-cycling.io/main/. just scroll down to the day stage. Some time there is an option you can choose to watch only the last 10km or the whole race.
