My last 2 activities downloaded from my Forerunner 405 indicated that it uploaded to Garmin Connect but when I view Garmin Connect it is not there/visible. Unfortunately I had the box ticked that indicated that the activity will be deleted after transfer. So I do not have a second chance to upload.

I have used ANT agent as I continuously get error messages from Garmin Express.

Anyone have an idea if this is lost forever or is it just hiding somewhere? Does the ANT stick keep some of the data?

I am a bit lost here technology wise impaired

It won't be on the stick itself, but the files should be saved on your c drive... Assuming you are running windows try have a look here: C:\Users\{YOUR_NAME}\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\{ID_NUMBER_OF_YOUR_DEVICE}\Activities

Not sure if it's the same with the 405, but with my 310 I have to ensure that when I start a session that I have an established satellite connection. If I don't, the date on the watch is not in sync and it starts the session on some arbitrary date(20070401 on mine). When you then upload the session, it will add the session, but for the incorrect date.

C:\Users\{YOUR_NAME}\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\{ID_NUMBER_OF_YOUR_DEVICE}\ but did not find an activity folder. I did find a Garmin device XML file that looks like its got some data but is not a format to upload.

Still lost here....

Where do you start looking for it? Or how? I have 260 activities on Garmin connect :cursing:

Go to C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\<DeviceID>\History

Group the TCX files by modified date and open up the latest (Assuming this was the last file you downloaded from your Garmin) Open the file in a text editor and check the start time. You can then edit the TCX file by replacing the incorrect date(s) with the correct one and upload the file manually. Obviously you can delete the incorrect entry on Garmin connect by just looking at your sessions for the incorrect date you found in the TCX file. You can do also look at the C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\<DeviceID>\Activities folder as mentioned and again group by modified date. The file name will be the incorrect date for the activity uploaded to Garmin connect

Is this another Garmin Express problem? Google Garmin Express, look for problems, and it should solve yours. I had problems with my 910XT. Bit of a bore to trudge through, but all sorted now, and nice as it automatically updates to Training Peaks.
