Dunno. Not on speaking terms with him. But I had my V999 long before we wanted to buy the Element. Got the 2016 Element 970 RSL from @AdrianDJ. Super stand up guy and without anything but pedals it came in at 11.1kg

 

So your V999 at 11kg is questionable

so much happened to my rocky, some carbon parts and new suspension and a few more teeth in the back( the older legs was getting hurt )......and I finally decided what to do about my paint job.....work starting this weekend
