Garmin HR strap - where to get one urgently ?

I am now sick of my strap that was giving erratic readings and now just stops recording any HR even though my unit picks up the strap. Batteries have been replaced and pickups look clean.

 

Where can I get one urgently or is there an alternative ?

Get a Polar HR strap. It has the same distance between pins from the HRM. My brother and I had the same problem, and it was solved this way. We are both using Garmin Edge 500. No more lost heart rate and the Polar one is cheaper by a long way.

these usually retail for ~R1k, so not badly priced. Haven't had an issue with a premium, been using it for a year.
