My gears slip( best way to describe) in the middle gears.

Regardless of the front gear position, the back gears slip when in the middle cogs.

The normally shift fine to there, but every now and the especially when pressure applied to crank, it slips back and forth .

Any advice to fix and ajust

My rear derailleur cable was new and after about 200km I started experiencing the gears slipping. I assume this was because of the cable stretching a bit. As I mentioned before, adjusting the rear derailleur should fix this!

Maybe stretched cable. I had that problem and found a bent link. Funny that when you start counting the pedal strokes it did it exactly the same time and thats how I found the link

Just tune your derailleur again

- Put it in the highest gear aka smallest cog

- Remove the cable, check H and L screws

- Check your B screw

- Make sure you have some play for cable tension at your shifter

- Put back the cable pull it as tight as you can with your fingers, shouldn't be too tight

- Hop on the bike and start shifting and adjust your cable tension as needed at the shifter

If there is still some issues, then just adjust your cable tension again. If your tension is too high you will have problems with shifting into a smaller cog, if it's too low then you will have problems with shifting into a bigger cog.
