Looking for an XXL entry level mens MTB

Hi there, I am looking for a hardtail for about R4k as a gift. The rider is 6.6" tall. I am in Johannesburg. I've called a couple of shops but no luck. I believe the tube length should be 23".

I'm 6.6". You can get away with XL frame and play with bits like seatpost, stem, bars to get a good fit. The problem unfortunately is being this tall means nothing is ever cheap.

It's just under 2 metres.

XL should be just fine. I am also just under 2m and ride an XL

I come in at 6'7 which is just on 2m and I ride XL frames.

For around that price range, maybe look at something like a Scott Aspect 40, I used to ride one and was happy with it, I think it is a decent entry level bike. Not sure on the price of it now, but when I bought mine it was around R5000.

I have a giant revel 0 29er xl for R5000. According to the giant spec chart it is for rider from 6'4 - 6'8. Top tube lenght 25 inches. Bike is almost new.
