So the bottle cages, fork, chain, crank, seat post, brakes and garmin mount survived! Wow, did this go for a full dismount or was this also a drag along the ground exercise?

 

I got to a ride the other day and the top bar had wiggled almost completly off. I now check 3 or 4 times.

 

Hope everything gets replaced quick and with as little time off the bike!

Full dismount off the back of the bakkie. I dont use a bike rack and the bungie strap holding it to the side is what pulled it over when the other strap gave way.

 

Insurance has paid out and the bike is in with Bruce Ryeneke (Leewee's) Westrand being built up. Awesome fast service from Leewee's. Dave is the man!!

There would be nothing worse seeing that happen in the rear view mirror!

My bike is all better now, thanks to Christoff @ the complete cyclist. Looking forward to Sunday at the farm and will be securing the bikes properly this time!
