Cassette and chain combo

Hi guys.

 

i am currently running 1X10 with an Xt rear and rapide front chain ring(Strong as HELL)

 

Now I have an SLX cassette and chain but i am sarting to notice that they are wearing very fast(bought them in febuary and i have replaced the chain once but it ow looks like both wil have to replaced again)

 

So what I want to know is:What is the best combo for long life time(not worried about looks or weight)

 

Sram cassette with shimano chain/vice versa?

Just shimano/Just sram?

 

Any advice or tips would be very helpful!
