CubeD Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Hi Gents, I've been busy helping out at Morninghill Country Club, (situated at 26 Hans Pirow Rd, Bruma) and have built the first pump track, and just about done with the pro pump track. Still to come is another looong pump/flow track, DJ lines and BMX track. Its loosely based on the Zurich Bike Park in Switzerland. From beginner to pro, there'll be a line for you - all connected back to a pump back to start mound. So we are looking at 3 Pump tracks, DJ with 3-4 lines, BMX track and flowing trails linking it all up - keeping options endless. Gavin Trussler hooked me up with the job of getting this done, and I've been doing as much as I can in my spare time.I now need the spruit rats, east rand vlei okes and all DJ guys to come through and give some input, feedback and dig time (I have TLB, sand, borehole water, labour, beers, food etc on site - beer and food for your account LoL). The pro pump track is pretty much done, but before I compact I'd like to see if its going to be rad as is, or if changes need to be made. Please come through this Saturday - late morning to afternoon, and come ride, chat, drink, dig, don't complain, comment, whatever, just show up and come see what we are doing. Megan will be providing us with a braai and meat for all the guys who come help.Bring bikes!!There's a nice playground with child minders, a café, a bar, a gym, dance studio and beauty salon there, so bring kids and wives along too. I'll keep you all posted on this one - its going to be one JHB's raddest parks with a the goal of night jams and craft beers not being too far away! Please guys, spread the word. Thanks,Just.

We'll also start laying out the flow trails (more open and sweeping, with smaller jumps for the not-so-experienced to get the feel for air, also for the MTB guys).So check it out and please let me know if there's something you'd like to add/change.Chris, Zayne, Brad, Sean thanks again for coming through and giving some input and shovel time - much appreciated!The track will be open every day until completion where we will start to have to get controls, waivers etc in place.Just try get out of there before 5 guys, please. (Flood Lights will be an welcome addition in the future, working on this!)
