He doesn't like the wet and cold.
Cav' Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Stage 10 Tuesday : Bastille Day. A day to ring fear into the hearts of the peloton. No? Well, certainly a day the French will wish fear into the heart of every non-French member of the peloton! This is a day that les Français will be looking for a hometown win! And consequently wishing poxes and curses on every non-French speaking threat to the win! Nacer Bouhanni is out, but he would not be a top pick on the day anyway. This may be a good chance for a long break with Pinot or Bardet in. Except, given Pinot's recent drama queen antics, I don't expect to see him anywhere near the front for the rest of the tour. It used to be the kind of stage Tommy Voeckler would activate - but I think he is getting a bit older and losing his edge. There will be a break - and they will give it a good go. Will they make it? Not likely. Expect the Fab Four to make an appearance today. I predict Berto will finally show his grit after losing time in the TTT today.

Contador is experience on his side as well especially with the up and coming stages!

Contador is definitely pacing himself now for the right moments. The sly dog has been careful with the fast finishes avoiding any potential mishaps or crashes. But placing himself in reasonable positions to keep him in contention. Yes these stages coming now is going to make waves. But which kind of waves is to be seen still.
