That Froome Dawg is surely looking hungry hey

TvG is looking sharp and well supported

The podium for yellow will really take shape in the Alps in Week 3 when cumulative fatigue and mental exhaustion will set in.

What a tour thus far.

Certainly for the Skyborgs to lose at this stage.

Still a way to the Champs Élysées though....one miserable wet day and the Dawg could fail. He doesn't like the wet and cold.

Stage 10 Tuesday :

Bastille Day. A day to ring fear into the hearts of the peloton. No? Well, certainly a day the French will wish fear into the heart of every non-French member of the peloton! This is a day that les Français will be looking for a hometown win! And consequently wishing poxes and curses on every non-French speaking threat to the win!

Nacer Bouhanni is out, but he would not be a top pick on the day anyway. This may be a good chance for a long break with Pinot or Bardet in. Except, given Pinot's recent drama queen antics, I don't expect to see him anywhere near the front for the rest of the tour. It used to be the kind of stage Tommy Voeckler would activate - but I think he is getting a bit older and losing his edge.

There will be a break - and they will give it a good go. Will they make it? Not likely. Expect the Fab Four to make an appearance today. I predict Berto will finally show his grit after losing time in the TTT today.

There's a few tough stages to come this week - cant wait!

By Thursday or Friday the whole GC standings will take shape ie. Froome/Berto/Quintana/Tejay and maybe Barquil or Bardet?

It looks tougher than week 3 almost (apart from stage 19 and 20)

You writing Sagan and Contador off? They more hungrier than Froome, especially Sagan. Contador is experience on his side as well especially with the up and coming stages!

I'm still picking Berto for the overall win.

Sagan will win green, doesn't stand a chance in GC (if that was what you were referring to)

Sorry misread your statement. Contador is definitely pacing himself now for the right moments. The sly dog has been careful with the fast finishes avoiding any potential mishaps or crashes. But placing himself in reasonable positions to keep him in contention. Yes these stages coming now is going to make waves. But which kind of waves is to be seen still.
