Hi All.

 

I have done a few Sabie races and never worried about Malaria. Recently my uncle that ownes a pharmacy in Linden has warned me about two people that ended up in hospital near Hazyview, 1 person passed away...

 

What do you think? Do you take tablets for Malaria in Sabie area?

Sabie is a Malaria free area, due to altitude. Hazyview is not, as it's lower down and in a different climate zone. Unless you travel through there or stay that side you will be fine.

Hi all we live in Nelspruit and I travel to Sabie a min of twice per week for work. We do not take anything for Maleria ever!

WRT weather ............. It's hot and humid here in Nelspruit.

Sabie will hopefully be a little cooler for us over the weekend but the last rain we saw was last Saturday!

I find myself in a bit of a predicament.   I am entered for the 70 and 40 for the weekend.   Took my Giant Anthem Advanced in for service yesterday.   They let me know that when they took out the bottom bracket the BB cup is loose.   Frame is currently on its way to Cape Town.

 

Anyone have a spare Medium size bike I can rent / use for the weekend?

has anyone else not received their Race Pack from Aramex... I'm a little disappointed that there delivery service has failed me, nothing received yet, and leaving for Sabie this morning. Hoped to enjoy a few more mins in bed, rather than scramble to registration.

I won't bother with this free service again, pity.

Hey Guys,

 

Unfortunately 100's of goody bags that needs to be delivered proved to be trickier than expected, and caused more headaches than good.

 

When it worked it was brilliant but unfortunately many people got theirs late.

It was decided to can the Aramex option beginning February 2015.

 

Perhaps one day this will be re introduced, for a selected event or two, until then you'll have to collect them.

I'm so Jealous. Entered the Ultra and was feeling strong and fit. Ready kick Mamba Switchback's Ass... But unfortunately this stupid thing called Flu "in the summer Nogal" got me good. Tried to double dose me from Monday with everything. But unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. But will take my revenge at the Dullstroom Ultra. Goodluck to everyone that rides tomorrow and Sunday.
