They used to sell the SuperGoose and the Freemag. it was one of the buildings on Heritage square i think.I lusted after the SuperGoose in 1982 and was dropping hints for my mom to buy me one for my birthday.what did i get ?......a kerum board.Thanks for the nostalgic trip down memory lane ! I used to ride BMX in the 90s. So I am not from your exact era but I am glad I could bring back some of your memories. Yes there was a Mongoose Freemag. The bikes you refer to are the non looptail ones. Real classics. I am fortunate to own the 1981 model Motomag (the yellow one). I plan to do a full recondition and build the way I would have spec'd it back then. We never really got what we wanted. I wanted to race BMX and was never by the means financially nor did my parents approve of the BMX riding. So yah...I always wanted these bikes again after making the mistake of selling mine. Mongoose! Posted January 12, 2015 Share Still looking for a classic Mongoose for myself. In the mean while this old Burner has to do. (Was my wife's bike on school) - sorry not allowed to tell how old the Burner is... my son (10) and I have some huge fun on our bikes.  You never too old (or tall) to have BMX fun!
