Novatec Flowtrail vs ZTR Arch EX

I am thinking of spoiling myself for my birthday in December and getting a new set of wheels.

 

For R6000 I can get a set of Novatec Flowtrai or ZTR Arch Ex/Hope

 

I am not sure which set to go for?

Of those, the Arch / Hope mix. Hope hubs are brilliant, and bomb-proof. Plus the Arch is 1mm wider than the Novatec, and that means the tire will be more stable on the rim.

 

BUT - If I were you, I'd go for a Flow EX / Hope combo. Flow is 4mm wider than the Arch, and MUCH stronger. The tires will perform better in the wider profile of the rim, and there's hardly any weight difference.

I'd go with the 2nd option - Stans w Hope hubs.

 

Have you considered American Classic Wide Lightning? They have an even wider inner width of 29.3
