Also, the 11-40 is the Praxis right, not other ones that come in that range

Cool thanks, so it looks like theres no 32 that will fit the new style SLX without washers. Guess its a blessing in disguise, as the washers help with chain line as well. I'm running a 34 on my SLX with 11-36, definitely have gone places I actually wanted either a 40 at the back or a 32 in front ... problem is in races for example, where guys are spinning up a rocky route, and I need to go faster than them in order to have the same rpm, and sometimes theres just no place to do that and pass etc. Places like dagga pad at van Gaalens or Hakahana black route In any case, quite a nifty gear ratio calc here : http://gears.mtbcrosscountry.com/#29I1371I1X29I1567I1
