Jy kan maar daai lefty koop. Ek het n sid gehad en ek het hom gerape. My lefty vat houe en hy vat dit goed. Maak jou reg vir al die grappies. Meeste grappies begin met het jy net geld vir n halwe vurk

So question to all the lefty lovers, How big a difference does the wheel set make? Reason I am asking is that I had a flash 29er with the lefty and I just battled on technical sections with that bike. I know they say a lefty is stiffer than a conventional fork but it always felt like there was just so much flex in it. Was it the front wheel perhaps?

I will say a lot. I owned a scalpel with a fairly entry level wheelset. Bunny hopping gave the feeling of extreme wheel flex.

 

Now I have a custom built Wheelset on my Flash. And it's as stiff as a honeymoon uhm. Very stiff.

Which wheelset did you have. Some fancy sets are really poor in many regards. I have the Shimano M970 XTR Lefty wheelset. Never needed to be trued and stiffer than a honeymoon night

I had a Giant Anthem 29er with Mavic Crossmax wheels...I could feel the rear wheel flexing on technical sections..I now ride a Flash Lefty with Easton ea 90 wheels....and its the best bike I have ever owned..

I agree..love the mavic crossmax wheel but they flex like crazy..

Die Crest wiele is great, maar passop hulle het wel n rider weight limit...ek dink dit is 100kg..ander hubbers kan my dalk hier uit help..

Ek het my Lefty gister vir die eerste keer gery. Dis n carbon xlr shock, maar dit lock nie 100% uit soos my Fox 32 nie. Is daar iets war ek kan stel of is die Lefty maar so??? Ek is half teleurgesteld met die shock... Help asb!!!

Stans Arch, no issues on my Flash. Before that Mavic Crossmax Lefty wheelset on my old Taurine, also no issues.

Die lefty moet heeltemal uit lock. Moet soos n rigid vurk wees. Ek stel voor jy vat hom vir n goeie diens en kyk wat kom van daar af

Does your Lefty XLR have the remote lock out made by Rock Shox?

I had an issue with mine not locking out properly because of this. Due to the lockout being hydraulic, it needs to be bled on the odd occasion.
