Colin H Posted December 2, 2015 Share The tracker is great but gets a bit distorted if you take the time lapse og transponder update and add that to the three minute update. But it is seriously cool to "watch" this adventure unfold.Almost like listening to rugby on the radio, just enough info for the score, and the imagination goes to fill in the detail.Who is sleeping, resting, paining, fixing, puking, hoping..... Colin H Posted December 2, 2015 Share And the group at the back, 60 odd kays behind, I can feel the pain already. But to get to the end will be massive
BenGraham Posted December 2, 2015 Share You know I'm not normally one for mad endurance events but this has somehow really captured my attention. I just hope we'll see some interesting videos about this when its over because as much as my imagination is plugging into the tracker I'd really like to see what this looks like. This is a race for madmen. The tracker thing is a really smart idea.

typhoon Posted December 3, 2015 Share so tim's bike was posted earlier - just a bag on the front. But what else do you carry if everything else is provided ? If you using a GPS surely you need battery back up ? Pretty sure someone posted about Mike's blog here beforehttp://www.mikewoolnough.blogspot.co.za/2015/11/munga-ahoy.html reading though each entry, he explains a lot about what all is needed, bike prep, etc. Mikes running a dynamo hub for power, he also says that they can swop out power packs at rest stops.
