Deer Park to Tokai - best MTB route?

On Sunday I did a little bit of exploring (using other riders' Strava routes to guide me a bit) and found some good trails between Rhodes Memorial and Constantia Main Road. Now, I want to link that route to the entrance to Tokai.

 

Any suggestions to replace the following sections with non-tarred alternatives?

• Corner Union and Rhodes, to first section of singletrack off Rhodes Drive
• Constantia Main Road to Porter Estate

Or is there a better route higher up the mountain?

Have you tired using the Strava heat map to try sus out any other routes?

There are only two ways into tokai and that is from either Tokai road, or turning right off Orpen Road towards the Range (Porter Estate area). can follow the jeep track to tokai where it meets with Tokai road, before hitting the Arboretum.
