I like the travel adjust option but can you adjust the travel on the fly? - This is what I'm hoping. Or do I have to stop? Would the RL Solo Air version be better? It does not have the travel adjust though. Thanks

The coil itself is a beautifully simple yet effective fork, but the DP side of it was a weak link a while ago and introduced a bit of a wildcard. On the travel adjust side - no, not on the fly afaik.
deanbean Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I've the Sektor 150mm dp. Beautifully simple fork, and very plush. More so than an air fork would be - less stiction, and the travel adjust is adjustable on the fly. Just turn the dp lever and push down on the handle bars and it adjusts.

Sound of me being shot down in flames. I forgot that the DP problems were confined to the air version. And you can't argue with the plushness of coil.

Skylark Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 A spring fork must be pretty rugged and set and forget?Once you have the sag you want dialed in with the correct spring and the rebound tuned up its set for eternity.

Except different trails require different compression and rebound settings, so the dampers get a bit of fiddling every so often.
