Bill Lange Contact Details

I have been extremely fortunate to have been given a Custom de Lange Frame built by the Legendary Bill Lange.

It needs to be repainted and I need to get replacement decals or the artwork for the decals.

 

Does anyone know how I could get hold of Bill Lange?

Or does anyone have replica decals/artwork available so I can restore this bike?

Managed to make contact with Ron.

Very cool guy.

Turns out he actually designed the decals for the brand and still has, so I'm in luck.

 

Some history behind the name DeLange, its a big of a play on words.

The manufacturer of the frame was Bill Lange and not De Lange.

The word "De L'ange" (pronounced: De Larnge) is actually a Col in France that the tour has used in the past. the word means Mountain of angles.

 

The Decal Ron designed depicts what an angel and the halo of the angel is a Chain ring. 

Because Bill Lange only built Bespoke frames, Ron says there were only about 200 frames built under tha name DeLange, most of which are really large bikes for guys who battled to find bikes there size in the "mass production market".

As many of us know, Bill Lange also built Mclintosh bikes for Robbie Mclintosh.
