Jean-Luc lend me the 4.2 for the Spring classic and all I can say is amazing. Okay I've never riden another FS bike bit it felt a bit unfair to put this bike agains HTs. When you pound on the pedals the rear wheel just digs into the ground and give great traction. I did not like the SRAM parts but that has nothing to do with the frame. The Formula Oro breaks are killer.

I would say it's a good buy if you want to be different.

I must agree, i took this one for a quick spin at NF and was very impressed! I rode this and then straight away rode the same track on another (single pivot) full susser and the difference was like night and day. This frame stuck to the ground, and there was very little bounce when pedaling. If i was in the market for a full susser, this would definitly be on my short list!

My brother recently bought one and loves it.  He says it climbs well (very little bobbing) and that he's never descended so fast while still feeling in complete control before.  His previous bike was an older generation full suspension (not Commencal).

JLDAM What is the difference between meta 4 and meta 4.1 ?

Anticlimb. There is no difference in the frame. It is exactly the same. Meta 4.1 is our top of the range 4" travel bike, while you have the team frame.

I have used xt group all round .

Easton Carbon seatpost .

Pro hi comp carbon handlebars.

Canecreek bar ends .

XT wheelset - great stuff .

Front fork Reba Team

Rear Fox Float RP23 .

We are still getting used to each other . The 180 mm cranks and my weight of 100kg's sometimes let the cranks hit the floor , so have to be carefull when I paddle in corners .

Thanks for showing me the bike at last years crater cruise , was money well spent  .
