The one commonly referred to as "the best trail weapon on earth" and "that thing" aka "axe spade hoe stomper jobbie"... Lasher make them as well. Aye, thats the one!

Because you're standing further back you can get a nice angle on the launch or landing to drag it down as you compact the dirt. A mate of mine just welded a thick handle from a long fork or rake onto a shovel head to get the same result.

With a Mcleod, a small saw and gloves you can do a very wide variety of work.
