That makes the Stage very good value for money, especially considering its a made in the US fork, actually that's an incredible price if you just consider that point, made in US typically means superb quality but crazy pricing. How much are the major/minor services for the Stage and can they be done relatively easily DIY, are service kits avail?

Had a look at that Ramp Control, looks very useful, though the bleed button on the top probably needs a cap to prevent it getting inadvertently pressed. Really nice feature, probably means you could theoretically carefully pump the fork with any air source(ie without a shock pump) and be able to get the pressure you need by feel/roughing out the sag using the bleed valve which I'm assuming is a lot more precise than pressing the pin on the Shrader valve that RS or Fox typically use?

Good analysis Sylark, their approach on the air bleed being positioned there is apparently to avoid the possibility of contaminating the brake rotor as well.

Re your observation - it is a very precise control for the bleed .... you simply inflate above the required pressure and then fine-tune - really workswell in real-world conditions.

Dont forget that these forks get dyno tested and signed off before it gets shipped as well,I dont think that RS and Fox do that with each fork.

Yep, mine arrived with the Test Card signed off by the techie.

Their QA seems impeccable.

Thanks to my good friend Stefan (TrApT) for the pics up on the wall ride.

Leatt AirFlex pads are holding up well too. Don't even know they're there.

As for the Stage , well .... I'm very pleased
