Where to get shock mounting kit for monarch plus

I am looking for a shock mounting kit for a build I am busy with. The rockshox agents are unable to help me.

Has anyone had the mounting hardware made up somewhere or know of other places I can try?

I think I remember hearing that the guys from Stoke could make them up. PM Droo.

Is there not mounting hardware on the frame already? With the existing shock?

Frame is sold without a shock and I'm told it doesn't come with the hardware either.

The shock didn't have any mounting hardware in the box.

The frame is the only piece to the puzzle that I am still waiting for.

I thought about having the hardware machined but not sure exactly what I need to have made. I do have all the measurements tho.

Frame and shock were separate purchases, neither come with the mounting hardware.

What frame?

Just a little FYI Cape Cycles don't bring in any shock bushings, they get them all from Omnico who are the Fox distributors.

Had the same problem a few months ago.

Eventually decided to stop wasting time in running around and futher delaying my build.Ordered from CRC,and five days later shock was mounted. All for less than 250 randelas.Suppose I could have saved some cash with trying to source local, but at that time I just wanted bike done.

Commencal meta am v4.

The top is 22,2x10mm which is pretty standard I am told. The rear is 14x10mm which I'm told doesn't exist.

I need to measure the eyelets on the monarch but from research I believe it's 12,7mm.

So using the top mount for the shock as an example, do I just get a little bush machined 22.2mm long with an id of 10mm and an od of 12,7mm? Do those measurements allow for tolerances or do I still need to allow? Is one little bush on each side all it comprises of? Are there spacers to stop the shock from sliding along the bushes?

I'm a bit clueless.

Funny you should say Commencal (dealt with the same issue yesterday) where you in PMB?

This is what you need

First off you are not going to find any retail kits with x10 unless someone brings them in that I don't know about, because Fox only bring in up to x8.

Second your 12.7 measurement is correct which means you will only have a lip of 0.65mm on each end of the reducers, this is very small and might break off.

.

Take your frame and shock to a engineering company and get them to make some up for you.

edit: spelling

Thanks for the advise. Nope, wasn't me yesterday.

Spaz have a very similar bushing on some of their frames. Check with a dealer. Even if you find a 6 or 8mm one, drilling it out to 10mm is the easiest thing in the world.
