Other details below taken from www.tokaimtb.co.za/services/rules-of-night-riding/ Night Riding Rules Night riding is permitted in Tokai on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays only. This activity is a privilege granted on a basis of trust between the management of Table Mountain National Park and TokaiMTB. A set of rules have been drawn up which forms the agreement that keeps you both safe as-well as in good standing with Park Management. The privilege will be monitored on an ongoing basis and disregard of the agreed terms, could make the difference in your safety and ultimately result in having the privilege revoked.Minimum 3 riders per group.Minimum 2 cell phones per group.Each rider to have their own light & helmet.Each rider must be in possession of the correct and valid permit.Permits must be available for presentation (if requested) while out on the trail.Entry – Sign the register upon entering at the gate.Stay on designated MTB trails.Respect areas out of bounds to cyclists.No Silvermine night riding access.No entry after 20:00Exit – Sign the register upon exiting at the gate.All riders to vacate the Park by 22:00We appeal to each individual to contribute to the effective and responsible running of this activity.NOTE: This agreement is for Tokai night rides only and DOES NOT include Silvermine access – this will from time-to-time be monitored and enforced. Parking in Arboretum parking area at own risk.
cadenceblur Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I believe they happen on a Wednesday. Not sure though. Check on the Tokai website or one of the hubbers on the Tokai committee might be able to shed some light. Also check with Trail and Tar, I believe they organise the rides
