Delta/Spruit Sanctuary

Its up to each community along the spruit to clean up their area - same with Delta Park. The residents in Blairgowrie have started cleaning out the vagrants from Delta Park at regular intervals. Cllr Truluck is very active in the area - hence the petition being for an area of concern in his ward.

 

Maybe chat to the cllr for that area & see if they can arrange similar clean ups?

It just takes one person to start it & you will be surprised how many people actually care & are willing to get their hands dirty.

 

Agreed. if the area in front of your place on the spruit is nice clean, well looked after it is less likely to have someone settle on it.

Personally I haven't ridden the Spruit yet as its a bit far for me to get to...but we are planning a group ride out that way as soon as possible.

But with all the amazing things I read on The Hub about it....I cant wait to try it!

All Spruit riders - please be on the lookout for 3 BMs on foot along the spruit.

Dark clothes.

They have 2 handguns & are confirmed to be involved with 3 armed home invasions in Blairgowrie in the last week - they are targeting homes along the spruit & Delta Park & Craighall & are believed to be the guys who murdered a resident in Linden last night.

 

An ex cop who was shot in front of his 13 year old son & wife when he disturbed a robbery in progress downstairs.

They shoot without hesitation & will take any opportunity presented to them, including hijacking. 

Be careful while out riding & PLEASE help us if you do see anyone who fits the discription.

All security companies & sector police vehicles have been briefed & are waiting for any tip offs from anyone who sees them.
