So this morning I clrimb on my bike.

And very quickly realized I could do with lots of Time In The Saddle with loads of Lots of Slow Distance..

 

P.s this is whole heartedly a rant to my self... Pedal more Dammit

Same here. Will do 2 x 30km in the week and 60-70km on the weekend starting tonight...if it doest rain...and its not too windy...

after the berg n dale last weekend i am feeling exceptionally strong. managed to better my time from last year by 45 min( i died in the saddle last year) and still felt strong at the finish.

i cannot for the life of me understand why though as my MTB is broken and i have only been riding my rd bike, not particularly long or hard rides either?

 

i suspect my attendance of spinning classes and the little bit of running i have started doing with my wife has something to do with it though( for the record i firmly believe that running is the work of the devil and only idiots do it, my wife on the other hand is a proper runner and does stupid distances and time etc).

 

sorry didnt mean to hijack just thought i would add my 2c worth.

For me I firmly believe the most difficult thing about exercise is getting out of bed in the morning...

 

And this year that has proved exceptionally difficult.

if it doesn't rain , not too windy ,not too hot, all the lights are green, they have a nando's special, there's no load shedding ,  there's a total lunar eclipse, the planets align.
