I simply cannot fathom why cycling is such a popular pastime in Belgium. With weather and roads like they have I would have thought darts or chess or something would be a better activity.

And the Belgian CX folks will say these are tropical conditions - lovely weather!

Imagine if Quintanna were riding here today.. he'd be blown to another country by now.

 

Shame my youngest is 11.. and a small 11yr old. . He weighs about 38kg.. and we had wind out on our ride today.. He says he feels their pain.. kid did well to stay on his bike at stages today.

That's 2 crashes already for the Italian general. He's back with his leader already. That chap is worth 2 people for Kristoff.
