BB30 or PF30

With a heavy heart I said goodbye to my old Scott AFD Pro.  After the Amashova I had a slight BB creek.  Not unexpected as we spent a few days in Durban riding up and down the beach front and the wind was howling.  Came home, gave it a good wash and checked the cranks and all seemed fine.  A couple of weeks all well then the noise returned.  Took the cups out and noticed multiple small stress fractures on both sides of the BB housing!  Shed a tear as although the frame was old (2003) it was the best! Super light and suited me great.  Stressed about finding a new one and then the Swift fire sale came up.  Choose the 2011 Attack.  Not because it was the cheapest (not complaining) but because of the outboard BB.  All the components from the Scott transferred over (except the seat post) and super happy with the result.  About 150gm heavier than the Scott but rides like a dream.  On the bright side I doubt the AFD Pro would have lasted as long with a press fit BB.
