Come join us at the Delta Park Nite Race, a ride on the Braamfontein Spruit.

 

When: Every Wednesday evening, race starts at 6:45

How much: R20

Course: Laps of 1.9km. As many as you can ride in an hour.

Who: Everyone who loves MTB. Fast and slow, young and old, this race/ride is suitable for everyone.

 

Where: Delta Cafe, 20 Marlborough Road, Craighall Park.

 

The Delta Cafe opens especially on Wednesday nights for this race. Arrive 20 minutes before the start and order your food before the race to make sure it is ready when you finish. Delta Cafe makes freshly-prepared food and has rave reviews on the Net.

These races are amazing  . Its a great vibe with a lekker group of guys. Its the ultimate way to keep your fitness up when you cant train much or simply just give you some intensity in your training. No matter how fast or slow you are you will benefit from these races and have tons of fun. I used to do these races all the time before I moved to CT and they really made me a faster rider especially when you go there and give it your all for that hour. 

 

Oh and Jules is a machine who will eat anyone allive who tries to stick with him.

I've tried email and posting on this thread, but not had any success.  It looks like on the first race was held and for the following two weeks nothing.  Let's hope for next Wednesday then...
