Peterhansel was particularly quick down some of the sketchy rocky sections creating his own lines which weren't apparent to us mere mortals.My usual riding partner (who can ride a bit) said the same thing - he has NEVER seen a guy take/create lines at SPEED down inhospitable terrain like Peterhansel.They tried following him once or twice..."tried".

mazambaan Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I suspect Peterhansel was a world class enduro rider, maybe world champion, before winning the Dakar 7 times on a motor bike then switching to cars. That sort of talent and ability doesn't just go away.
